Rocking Dingbatz in Clifton on Friday 11/3!

Symetria is a forward-looking throwback, ready to carry the banner of Jersey Heavy Metal into the next decade.  Hailing from Flemington, Symetria took its name from the Polish word for Symmetry.  Symetria means “balanced and intelligent.”  That definition can definitely apply to the band’s compositions, which are also heavy, powerful and rythmically charged.

Symetria is the first Metal band signed to Tripsquad Records to put out a release.  Their self-titled debut album dropped on 9/29.  It was recorded at Trax East with Eric Rachel (Skid Row Producer) and Tim McMurtrie (M.O.D.).  It’s a great collection of tracks that will no doubt raise the group’s signature on local Rock radar. You can score a download of the LP HERE.

Tune to Jersey Rock on 95.9 The Rat on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 11:30 pm to hear cuts from Symetria’s self-titled debut album.  Singer Vincent Santonastaso will call in to the the show each night to talk about the LP and the band’s upcoming performance in Clifton.

Don’t miss Symetria at Dingbatz in Clifton this Friday 11/3.  The band is opening for the DIO tribute act Lock Up The Wolves.  Drakensberg, White Void, Kill To Create and Sampere are also on the bill.  It’s an all-ages show.  Tickets are $12 in advances, $15 at the door, and are available HERE.
