Chock Full O’ Kirk: Hammett Joins The Coffee Game
Metallica’s Kirk Hammett has created some liquid lightning for fans to ride.
The guitarist has launched Ghoul Screamer, a new coffee in partnership with Dark Matter Coffee and KHDK Electronics. Packaged with appropriately ghoulish artwork by Daniel Kurz, the El Salvador blend comes with the message, “Guarding a serpentine circuit of obsidian, Ghoul Screamer was forged in the bottomless mines of Az’g’orath to protect humanity from the forces of evil by summoning the scream of the Ghoul…Heed the prophecy: Only warriors of the sacred caffeine-to-blood ration will wield the power of Ghoul Screamer, a fully fermented brew with waves of untamed punch. Those unworthy will be consumed by its force.”
A video trailer for Ghoul Screamer can be found online, and the brew can be ordered now from DarkMatterCoffee.com.
Hammett and Metallica, meanwhile, play in the U.K. and Belgium through November 3 and start a full European leg of its WorldWired Tour on February 1 in Portugal.
