Rocking Millhill Basement in Trenton on 10/27!

Trenton Punk Rockers The Cryptkeeper Five have been rocking New Jersey since 1997.   Sometimes referred to as CK5, the band has gone through a number of incarnations over the years.  Through it all the group has retained the same singer, Johnny Ott, and lead guitarist, Jimmy Ray, for its entire 20 year run.

The Cryptkeeper Five’s influences include The Ramones, Roy Orbison, Bruce Springsteen, The Misfits, and Tom Petty.  The band’s sound blends elements of 1950’s-inspired Horror Punk with raw, unadulterated Rock.  The result is a refined brand of genre-straddling Jersey Rock.

The Cryptkeeper Five released their 9th studio album in August.  “The Stronghold” is a powerful collection of tracks that will no doubt add to the band’s well-earned acclaim on the East Coast music scene.  You can score a copy of the disc HERE.

The Cryptkeeper Five will rock the Millhill Basement in Trenton on the Friday before Halloween, 10/27.  Joining them on the bill are Hot Blood, Doc Rotten and last week’s Jersey Rock Band of the Week:  The Carousers.  Learn more HERE.

Tune to Jersey Rock on 95.9 The Rat on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 11:30 pm to hear some great tracks from “The Stronghold.”  Singer Johnny Ott will call in to the show each night to talk about the new album and the band’s upcoming performance this Friday in Trenton.
