3rd September 1984: British rock group Queen in concert with singer Freddie Mercury (Frederick Bulsara, 1946 - 1991) and guitarist Brian May.

Queen fans are getting more peeks into the group’s upcoming Bohemian Rhapsody biopic courtesy of director Bryan Singer.

Singer has been regularly posting photos from the filming on his Instagram account, and his most recent shows Mr. Robot‘s Rami Malek done up as Freddie Mercury for a concert sequence.

In the post Singer writes, “Couldn’t help myself and had to post this iPhone pic.”

The Mercury shot follows a Singer post last week showing Queen guitarist Brian May, shot from behind, taking a 3D photo as the actors filmed a (presumably same) concert sequence.

May and Queen drummer have maintained close ties to the project, even coaching the cast members on their performance technique.

The movie is tentatively scheduled for a late 2018 release, but no firm date has been announced.
