Jersey Rock Feature of the Week: Asbury Underground
Taking Over Asbury Park from Noon to Midnight on Saturday 10/14!
Asbury Underground is a full day of art, music, comedy, and spoken word. The event features over 80 performances from over 100 musicians and 50 visual artists, 2 hours of spoken word and 3 hours of comedy at a number of art galleries and local businesses in downtown Asbury Park.
The 10th edition of Asbury Underground hits The City By The Sea on Saturday 10/14. It all kicks off at Lakehouse Music Academy at 12 noon with a performance from The Lakehouse Music Pros. What follows is a crawl through 24 venues, traversing art galleries, coffee houses, vapor bars, clothing stores, and much more. There will literally be a Jersey Rock artist around every corner and many opportunities to view striking visual art exhibits. It’s also a great opportunity to support the many privately owned local businesses that populate Asbury Park. 22 of the participating venues will have original art for sale. The entire event is FREE.
