In honor of the great Tom Petty…let’s re-watch his fantastic performance at Super Bowl 42.
Tom (and the Heartbreakers) absolutely dominated the Super Bowl with this amazing set.
They kick it off with “American Girl”…then go into “I Won’t Back Down”…they give us “Free Fallin'”…and close it out with “Runnin’ Down A Dream”.
RIP, Tom…one of the truly, great, American rock artists of all time.
