Jersey Rock

Hosted by Tom Hanley Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 11:30 pm

Performing at UMSFL Presents Tattooing For Autism VI at VFW Post 2179 in Port Monmouth on Saturday 9/30!

The Hard Rock Band known as Rahway is named after the town it calls home. They are a driven group of hard-workers with a sound that straddles the realms of classic and modern rock.  Drawing on blistering instrumentals and high-energy vocals their presence is a force to be reckoned with.  That presence has earned them the right to open for a number of high-profile acts including Slash, STP, Steel Panther, Three Days Grace, and Godsmack to name a few.

Rahway’s new full-length album “Undefeated” is out now.  A follow up to their “Grand Design” EP, the disc is a wild ride that draws influences from a spectrum of Rock, both new and old.  You can score a copy of the LP HERE.

Rahway will bring their high-powered stage show to VFW Post 2179 in Port Monmouth on Saturday 9/30 for the Tattooing For Autism VI benefit.  Presented by UMSFL, the event’s goal is to raise money to promote Autism awareness.  The benefit goes from 10am to 8pm.  Joining Rahway on the bill are Ryder, Broken Past, High Octane, 6 Gun Sound and Jersey Rock veterans Metal Life Crisis.  Admission is FREE, but donations are welcome.  Learn more about the event HERE.

Tune to Jersey Rock on 95.9 The Rat on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 11:30 pm.  Rahway Bassist Chigger will call in to the show each night to talk about the upcoming benefit as we rock tracks from the band’s new “Undefeated”  disc.

Beyond Saturday’s benefit, Rahway will be in action at The Blue Room in Secaucus on 12/16.  More info HERE.
