If you follow Halestorm and each band member’s personal accounts on social media, you’ll know that today (August 9) marks the 20th anniversary of the band’s first live performance.
Lzzy and Arejay Hale took to the Halestorm Facebook page to celebrate the milestone by performing “Love Is Power,” the first song the sister and brother wrote together.
The band will be returning to their Facebook page later today at 4 PM EST to do a live Q&A, too!
Halestorm is even selling special 20th anniversary merch featuring the band’s first logo. (Spoiler: It’s adorable!)
For those that may have missed the band’s earlier posts showing off band artifacts, we highly recommend going back and checking them out, but by far our favorite post came from guitarist Joe Hottinger in which he shared the ad he responded to that led him to joining Halestorm. Classic!
