HENLEY-ON-THAMES, ENGLAND - JUNE 30: Pints of beer sit on top of a hendge at the Henley Regatta on June 30, 2017 in Henley-on-Thames, England. The five day Henley Royal Regatta is now in its 178th year. The event is one of the highlights of the English social season and sees international crews compete in knock out races along the River Thames. (Photo by Jack Taylor/Getty Images)

Nothing says July 4th quite like beer and barf (especially if you’re a news reporter based in Los Angeles).

So, apparently a woman named Wendy Burch was covering something called the Hermosa Beach Ironman…which encourages its “athletes” to “Run, Paddle, Chug!”

The participants run a mile, swim a mile, and chug a six-pack of beer (sounds like the perfect competition for Gotts).

You can guess where this is going.  Poor Wendy got puked on like it was a scene outta Stand By Me.

Enjoy.  God bless America.
