LOS ANGELES, CA - JUNE 20: Meg White (L) and Jack White of The White Stripes perform at the "Icky Thump Record Store" on June 20, 2007 in Los Angeles, California.

For those questioning how fast time flies, it’s been ten years since the release of Icky Thump, the final studio album from The White Stripes.

(We’ll wait while you come to grips with that stunning fact.)

Now that you’ve hopefully finished crying and lamenting how old you feel, there’s a bit of good news:  Jack White’s Third Man Records is releasing a special 10th anniversary box set edition of Icky Thump as part of their Vault Package membership subscription.

The Vault Package membership sends out new, exclusive box sets every quarter full of all sorts of fun extras, and the Icky Thump edition doesn’t disappoint.  Among the contents are:

  • Icky Thump 2LP – Studio album is pressed on colored vinyl and comes packed in an alternate jacket.
  • Two bonus LPs – One LP contains all Icky Thump b-sides; the other features previously unreleased demos.
  • A photo book featuring various polaroids from the recording of Icky Thump.
  • A “mystery” 8 x 10 print by Rob Jones.
  • A double enamel pin set of horses as depicted on the single art for “Rag and Bone.”

Interested in getting your hands on this box set?  It’s available only at ThirdManRecords.com, and you must pre-order by July 31, or you’ll be SOL or paying significantly more for the set on eBay.
