New Jerry Cantrell Track Featured On ‘John Wick: Chapter 2’ Soundtrack

We're still waiting for official word about the next Alice In Chains album, but we will hear some new music from co-founder and guitarist Jerry Cantrell soon.

Cantrell has contributed a new song, "A Job To Do," the soundtrack for the upcoming film John Wick: Chapter 2. Cantrell recorded the song with Tyler Bates, who wrote the score for the action sequel to the 2014 film that stars Keanu Reeves, Common, Laurence Fishburne and others.

The soundtrack comes out digitally on February 10, the same date as the movie, with a physical version due March 3. It marks Cantrell's first solo release since his second album, Degradation Trip, came out in 2002.

Alice In Chains, meanwhile, is working on its sixth studio album and first since The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here in 2013.
