2017 Rock Hall Presenters Announced

Members of Rush, Neil Young and Jackson Browne have been announced as the first presenters for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 2017 induction ceremony, taking place April 7 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Rush's Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson will induct Yes, while Young will do the honors for Pearl Jam, who backed him on his 1995 album Mirror Ball. Browne, meanwhile, will usher Joan Baez into the Hall.

Presenters for Journey, ELO, Nile Rodgers and Tupac Shakur, as well as performers for the ceremony, are expected to be announced during the coming week.

Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. ET February 3, with a Citi Private Pass presale for card holders starting at 10 a.m. January 30.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland will host a live simulcast event the night of the ceremony, and HBO will be filming it for broadcast, most likely later in the month.
