Rock’s Iconic Screams

Legendary Who frontman Roger Daltrey turns 72 today (March 1st), and if we could pick just one thing that makes him so incredible it’s his iconic scream.  While Daltrey is undoubtedly one of the best, he certainly set the standard for screams for decades to come.  In honor of his birthday, we look back at some of our other favorite “screams” in rock.

The Who – “Won’t Get Fooled Again”

Guns N’ Roses – “Welcome To The Jungle”

Led Zeppelin – “Whole Lotta Love”

Halestorm – “I Miss The Misery”

Soundgarden – “Outshined”

Audioslave – “Cochise” (Because one entry from Chris Cornell didn’t seem like enough)

Iron Maiden – “Run to The Hills”

Judas Priest – “You Got Another Thing Coming”

Aerosmith – “Dream On”

Van Halen – “Runnin’ With the Devil”

Linkin Park – “Given Up”
