Muse is out with a new video, for the song "Revolt" from its latest album, Drone.
The sci-fi themed clip features the trio performing the song while war between men and drones wages behind it; at the start of the clip a message informs us "The Year 2025. Government Drones Fill The Sky. Freedom Has Been Banished. Until Now..."
"Revolt" is the third single from "Drones," which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in June, and drummer Dominic Howard tells us that Muse was able to keep the pressure of expectations at bay during the recording of the album:
"We never really feel like we've got too much pressure on ourselves in the studio. We just want to go in there and have a very fluid and natural process...You always want to kind of create better music and discover new musical ideas and feel like we're moving forwards and not backwards. But generally we kind of like, we like to feel relaxes. We certainly don't have any outside pressure from anyone else. If anything it's an internal thing, just to feel like we're finding new ideas."
Muse begins the next leg of its Drones World Tour on November 17 in Mexico City, with North American shows commencing December 1 in Houston.
