LISTEN: Rough Mix of Zeppelin’s “When The Levee Breaks”

With the final batch of its deluxe album reissues just over a week away, Led Zeppelin his posted the alternative, rough mix of "If It Keeps on Raining" from 1982's Coda collection online.

The variation of Kansas Joe/Memphis Minnie tune "When the Levee Breaks" -- initially recorded for Led Zeppelin's fourth album -- is a full three minutes shorter than the rendition that appears on the original album and features a different mix of John Bonham`s bass drum and a somewhat different vocal delivery by Robert Plant.

Coda comes out on July 31, along with deluxe reissues of 1976's Presence and 1979's In Through the Out Door.
