With KISS taking it relatively easy this year, Paul Stanley has announced plans to launch a "lifestyle brand" at next month`s Licensing Expo in Las Vegas.
Paul Stanley: Royals & Rebels is a joint project between Stanley and Epic Rights and will feature Stanley-branded "men's fashion apparel and accessories, footwear, food, spirits, home decor, cookware and more."
In a statement, Stanley said that he and Epic Rights CEO Dell Furano "have worked closely on the strategic developments and partnerships on the Kiss brand as well as more recently with Rock & Brews and my paintings. I am excited to watch Dell and Epic Rights' great team of branding professionals seek out and find opportunities and outlets that will reflect a lifestyle and point of view that I am passionate about and do it imaginatively and creatively in the years to come."
Stanley and Epic Rights have issued some photos online of the men's fashions that will be part of the Royals & Rebels brand. Furano said in a statement that, "Paul is the definitive rock renaissance man with a sense of style in arts, fashion, design and food that is unrivaled in the music industry. His creativity, marketing savvy and personal style truly sets him apart."
KISS performs Saturday (May 30) at the Rockavaria festival in Munich, kicking off a 15-date European run. The group will be in Australia during October before setting sail on its annual KISS Kruise on October 30 out of Miami.
