LISTEN: Stone Sour’s Cover of Metallica’s “Creeping Death”

Stone Sour’s Meanwhile in Burbank EP will be coming out this Saturday on Record Store Day (April 18th), but the band has offered up a preview of the release via their Facebook page.

Embedded below is a clip of their cover of Metallica’s “Creeping Death” from their 1984 sophomore release Ride The Lightning. The EP also contains covers of “We Die Young” by Alice In Chains, “Heading Out To The Highway” by Judas Priest, “Love Gun” by KISS and “Children Of The Grave” by Black Sabbath.

So far, it looks like Stone Sour has no immediate plans to head out on the road or work on any new material, but this is likely due to frontman Corey Taylor currently being on the road with Slipknot in support of their latest album .5: The Gray Chapter.
