Jersey Rock Band of the Week: Tilted

Brick Hard Rock act Tilted's debut EP "Never Too Late," is out now. Tune to Jersey Rock on 95.9 The Rat on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 11:30 pm to hear cuts from the disc and call-ins from guitarist Steve Cavico. Tilted will open for Skid Row at The Starland Ballroom in Sayreville this Saturday 11/11. In honor of Veterans Day, the band will donate $1 from each ticket sold to The Wounded Warrior Project!

Central Jersey Indie Pop Rockers Hideaway will rock Paul's Tavern in Lake Como on Tuesday 12/5 with The Ones You Forgot, World War Me, and Makeout. The band released its debut single and music video "Nothin On Me" back in October. It's a fun, energetic song about standing up for what you love and believe in. Flemington Metal act Symetria are balanced, intelligent, and ready to rock the scene. The band released their debut self-titled album in September. Trenton Horror Punk group The Cryptkeeper Five have been at it for 20 years. They will rock The Millhill Basement in Trenton this Friday 10/27. The Hollow is a Modern Rock band from Morris County. They're playing The Morris Tap in Randolph on Saturday 10/28 for "A Very Hollow Halloween." It's a concert and a costume party! Jersey Rock Band of the Week: The Carousers

NJ Punk Rock trio The Carousers released their self-titled EP on 10/6. The disc is a high-energy, catchy and fun collection of tracks. The band got its start on the Monmouth University student-run label Blue Hawk Records. The Carousers will rock The Asbury Park Brewery on 10/20. No More Pain's Mike Roman and Mind Riot's Mike Rainone teamed with Studio IV Productions in January to record an incredible cover of Temple Of The Dog's "Hunger Strike." The two bands will team up again on 10/26 for "Burden In My Hand: A Tribute To Chris Cornell" at House Of Independents in Asbury Park. Jersey Rock Feature of the Week: Asbury Underground

The 10th edition of Asbury Underground takes over the city by the sea on Saturday 10/14 from noon to midnight! The FREE event is a crawl through 24 Asbury Park venues with over 80 performances from over 100 musicians and 50 visual artists, 2 hours of spoken word and 3 hours of comedy.
