Kearny Metal outfit Incognito Theory is made up of a number of local rockers from different bands under the leadership of Dave Incognito. The band will open for Michael Graves at Blackthorn 51 in Queens on May 6. Incognito Theory released their debut EP "Desires" last year and is currently working on a full-length album. The video for the band's latest single "Reckoning" is this week's Jersey Rock Video of the Week.
Weehawkin Bluesy Modern Rock group The Skullers recently released their debut single "Can We Do That Again?" The accompanying video is this week's Jersey Rock Video of the Week. Indie Rock band Ruby Bones will release their self-titled debut album on May 12th. Their lead single "Heart of Darkness" is a strong effort with a great hook. Daughter Vision are a Synth Pop Electronica band from Asbury Park who know how to make both an audible and a visual impression. Their video for "Jai Alai" was shot during their performance at House Of Independents last summer. You can score a download of their latest effort "Do What You Want" now at cdbaby.com. They're currently in the midst of a Kickstarter Campaign to put the album out on CD, vinyl and cassette.
Fresh off rocking the Studio at Webster Hall, Levy & The Oaks will lend their talent to An Evening at the Overlook to Benefit Move For Hunger this Saturday night 12/3 at Convention Hall in Asbury Park. The video for the lead single off their self-titled, debut album "Slowly In The Water," was filmed on location in Jersey City, Orange and Manhattan.
