Jersey Rock Artist of the Week: Julian Fulton

Julian Fulton is a true individual. His well-honed, detail-oriented sound draws influences from a musical spectrum spanning from Motown to Classic Rock and beyond. Julian's new EP "Battered Receptions" will be available May 12 at a FREE record release show at the Asbury Park Yacht Club. Tune to Jersey Rock on 95.9 The Rat on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 11:30 pm to hear cuts from the disc. Julian will call in to the show each night to talk about his latest release and his upcoming performance in Asbury Park.

Jersey Rock: Jammin' For Jaclyn Cancer Benefit

On Saturday 4/29 a special benefit featuring local artists will rock the Knights of Columbus, located at 308 4th St. in South Belmar. Jammin' for Jaclyn will benefit two local women who are fighting Breast Cancer. Admission is a minimum $25 donation. The show goes from 3:30 to 11:00 PM!

Jersey Rock Feature: Punky Meadows at B.B. King's

Punky Meadows and his team of Jersey Rockers will take the stage at B.B. King's in New York City on April 29! The Rat's own Keith Roth will fill in on Bass for Felix Robinson as the band wraps up their East Coast tour in support of the "Fallen Angel" album. Tune to Jersey Rock on 95.9 The Rat at 11: 30 pm on Thursday April 27 to hear a great track from the disc. Keith Roth will join Tom in studio, with Punky Meadows and Danny Farrow calling in to the show.

Jersey Rock Feature of the Week: Celebration of the Guitar

While the International Guitar Month celebration continues at wrat.com another event honoring our favorite six-stringed instrument is set to rock House Of Independents in Asbury Park on Friday April 28. Dark City Entertainment and The Saint Present: Celebration of the Guitar. The evening will feature performances from Colossal Street Jam, Kenny Dubman, Frankenstein 3000 and Bitter Crush. Kearny Metal outfit Incognito Theory is made up of a number of local rockers from different bands under the leadership of Dave Incognito. The band will open for Michael Graves at Blackthorn 51 in Queens on May 6. Incognito Theory released their debut EP "Desires" last year and is currently working on a full-length album. The video for the band's latest single "Reckoning" is this week's Jersey Rock Video of the Week.
