TOMS RIVER – What are the signs that suggest memory problems are more than just part of normal aging?
Andrew Budson, MD, Associate Director of the Boston University Alzheimer Disease Center will help answer that question during a program at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3 at the Toms River Branch of the Ocean County Library.
Using vignettes and character-based stories that provide real-life examples, Dr. Budson will discuss the issue of memory loss. His book, “Seven Steps to Managing Your Memory” will be available for purchase. He will sign copies of his book after the program.
This 340 page book is the result of his team’s goal to provide their patients with additional information beyond their allotted time during appointments.
The program is free and open to the public. It will be held in the Bishop Building next to the library on 101 Washington St. Registration is required. To register, call 732-349-6200 or visit theoceancountylibrary.org
Free parking is available daily after 5 p.m., in the top and middle levels of the Toms River parking garage located behind the library or anytime in the Ocean County parking garage on Hooper Avenue.
