(WATCH) Jersey Rock Video of the Week: The Clydes "Holly Speaks"

Rocking The Bitter End in NYC on Tuesday 3/13!

New Brunswick Indie Alt/Pop Rockers The Clydes released their latest album back in October.  “So The Story Goes” is a follow-up to the band’s “Lucid Garden” EP.  The disc features 10 tracks of melodic, emotive, easy-listening tunes.  It’s a great album to chill out to while contemplating the intricasies of life.  You can score a download of the LP on iTunes.

Don’t miss The Clydes at The Bitter End in Greenwich Village, New York City on Tuesday 3/13.  They’re playing with The Greasy Keys, Backtrack and Diamond Hotel that night.  Doors are at 6:30 pm.  The Clydes hit the stage around 10 pm.  More info at bitterend.com.

The Clydes’ video for Holly Speaks really captures the haunting nature of band’s sound.  The main character almost comes across as a ghost as she walks through a cemetery and goes seeminglingly unnoticed by those around her.  It’s a cool video with a feel that shifts from somber to hopeful.
