(WATCH) Jersey Rock Video of the Week: Dark Sky Choir "Monster Metal Weekend" Compilation

Rocking The Old Bridge Militia Foundation’s Bulldozer Bash II on May 20!

Dark Sky Choir is a Hard Rock/Metal band comprised of 4 well-traveled Jersey Rockers.  The band is fronted by Hollywood How, whose vocal range can channel the likes of Rob Halford and Ronnie James Dio.  Guitarist Fred Gorhau is a 7 year veteran of Holiday Metal act Wizards of Winter.  After touring the US and Europe with Exxplorer, Drummer Mike Sakowski spent the last few decades teaching drum skills to young area musicians.  Rounding out the group is Bassist Joe Stabile, who performed with a number of local acts, including Lords of Mercy, and toured with members of Anvil.  The sum of the 4 rockers is a great Metal act that can pump out strong original tunes and spot-on covers.

Dark Sky Choir will perform at The Old Bridge Militia’s Bulldozer Bash II at the Old Bridge Elk’s Lodge 2229 on May 20.  The event will raise money for the many charitable endeavours of The Old Bridge Militia, which include supporting school music programs and local foodbanks.  Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.  Food, beer and soda are included with your donation.  Purchase advance tickets HERE.
