It's going to be a big 2017 for U2 according to a video message the group posted Christmas day.
As The Edge played "Little Drummer Boy," Bono outlined the Irish quartet's plan for the new year, saying, "Happy Christmas everyone. Next year is going to be a big year for the U2 group. We have 'Songs Of Experience' coming, and to honor 30 years of 'The Joshua Tree' we have some very, very special shows coming."
The video offered no further details about release dates or tour itineraries.
Songs Of Experience is the follow-up to 2014's Songs Of Innocence, and U2 has reportedly worked with producers such as Danger Mouse, Jacknife Lee and Ryan Tedder on the album.
