Jersey Rock Band of the Week: Wicked Hollow

Playing the Stone Pony on New Year's Eve.

Wicked Hollow are a red hot up and coming modern rock outfit, who are preparing to tour the nation in the new year.  Their sound falls somewhere in between The Who and Cage The Elephant with a little bit of Black Sabbath and Eric Clapton sprinkled in.  No strangers to Jersey Rock, Wicked Hollow performed at the 2016 Jersey Rock Winter Beach Crawl,  The Alison Swift Memorial Rock Show and the 2016 Jersey Shore Guitar Show at the Starland Ballroom.  The raw energy they put out on stage is something that should definitely be experienced live.

Wicked Hollow recently put out a brand new  EP  entitled "Vices."  It is an impressive effort and an excellent follow up to their previous releases "Resolution/Revolution" and "Live @ Hangar 1 Studio Sessions."  Tune to Jersey Rock on 95.9 The Rat on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night at 11:30 to hear cuts off the disc.

Wicked Hollow are preparing to tour the nation in 2017, but before they do that they will rock The Stone Pony on December 31 as part of "Another 90's New Years Eve."  The show will feature a number of great local acts, performing as the bands who ruled the 1990's.  Wicked Hollow will be playing the part of soon-to-be Rock n' Roll Hall of Famers Pearl Jam.  "Another 90's New Year" at the Stone Pony should make for an excellent way to ring in 2017!  Here's the entire bill for the show:

GAYGUY/STRAIGHTGUY as Weezer
LOST IN SOCIETY as Bush
DENTIST as The Cranberries
WICKED HOLLOW as Pearl Jam
WYLAND as Oasis
THE BLACK CLOUDS as Nirvana
