Jersey Rock Artist of the Week: Matty Carlock

Playing The Saint in Asbury Park on Friday December 16.

Middletown native Matty Carlock is a multifaceted talent.  The former frontman of NJ Hardcore Act Back And Forth released his debut Folk Rock album "Loveless" earlier this year.  The singer/songwriter/musician is thriving in his new genre, touring the nation and working on a sophomore release.  You can hear some of his soon to be released material at The Saint in Asbury Park this Friday night where he will be opening for the Vansaders.  You can score tickets HERE.

Matty Carlock will call in to Jersey Rock all week to talk about his music and the upcoming show in Asbury Park.  Tune to 95.9 The Rat on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night at 11:30 pm to hear from him and check out cuts from the "Loveless" album.

You can score Matty's full-length solo album and his cover of Bruce Springsteen's Atlantic City at mattycarlock.bandcamp.com.  "Loveless" is available on CD at most local record stores.  You can learn more at mattycarlock.com.
