A Nameless Ghoul Talks Working On New Ghost LP

Ghost has just released a new EP, Popestar. But the masked and anonymous rockers from Sweden also have their sights on their fourth album.

One of Ghost's Nameless Ghouls tells us that the process of making a follow-up to 2015's Grammy Award-winning Meliora has already begun, though it's still in its early stages:

"Right now at this point...we haven't really started the pre-production yet. It's hard to say if we are halfway into it or a third into it or 25 percent into it because you never know, really, what will wind up on the final product. But I am very far into the writing...I think that we have a pretty good idea of what we're doing next, so we're already sort of getting ready...We're gonna do this American tour and then we're gonna do a European tour and then pretty much after that we're going into the studio."

Ghost is in the midst of its Popestar Tour of North America; Popestar, meanwhile, is the first EP to ever top the Billboard Top Rock Albums chart. The European tour dates have yet to be announced.
