Jersey Rock Band of the Week: Mind Riot

Playing The Brighton Bar in their hometown of Long Branch on Thursday October 6.

Mind Riot are a hard, alternative rock band with a sound reminiscent of the music scene of the 1990's.  Its no surprise their influences include Soundgarden, Alice In Chains and Down.  The band has a deep-rooted passion for hard rock .  That passion paid off with a great debut album.

All week on Jersey Rock we will play tracks from Mind Riot's self-titled debut album.  That album is available now via digital download at mindriotnj.bandcamp.com.  You can order a physical copy at mindriotband.com.

Mind Riot are: Mike Rainone (Vocals), Brian "B Money" Moyes (Guitar), Skip Burns (Bass) and Dan Rainone (Drums).  The band is comprised of 100% family and life-long friends.

You can catch them live in their hometown of Long Branch on Thursday October 6 at The Brighton Bar.  On the bill with them are One Hundred Thousand, The Carousers and Stay Home.  It's an 18+ show.  Doors are at 7PM.  Tickets are $10.

You can learn more about Mind Riot on their  facebook page.
