WATCH: Green Day’s New Video For “Bang Bang”

In the coming weeks, if a bank robbery makes the news that features three robbers wearing Green Day masks, we may have an idea from where the inspiration came.

Fresh off the press (so to speak) via the band’s Facebook page, Green Day’s official video for “Bang Bang,” which was directed by Rancid’s Tim Armstrong, follows a trio in their best Billie Joe, Mike and Tre masks as they hold up a bank enroute to a house party where the band is playing.

(Side note:  We sincerely hope the band intend on selling the masks featured in the video, for Halloween purposes and not for robbing banks, of course.)

“Bang Bang” is featured on Green Day’s upcoming album Revolution Radio, which is available for pre-order at on CD and vinyl formats.  Upon pre-order of either format, “Bang Bang” and the title track become available as instant downloads.
