HARDWIRED...TO SELF DESTRUCT - Available Everywhere November 18

Hardwired... is due out November 18 and is Metallica's first set of new material since Death Magnetic in 2008 (not counting the 2011 Lou Reed collaboration Lulu)

...Meanwhile, the group is promising the album's release will be followed by its first extensive tour since the trek to support Death Magnetic. Drummer Lars Ulrich tells Rolling Stone that, "It's time to come back and do some proper penetration of America...We're going to start pretty much full-on touring in January and are looking to figure out what we're doing in North America, but there will definitely be some pretty extensive touring in America."

The group just played a show in Minneapolis and will headline Neil Young's Bridge School Benefit concerts on October 22-23 in Mountain View, Calif.
