Having Hollywood Vampires on the road is undoubtedly a bit of a respite for actor Johnny Depp, who's mired in an acrimonious split form wife Amber Heard, who's accused him of domestic violence.
His bandmates Alice Cooper and Joe Perry are no strangers to controversy and tabloid press, and Perry tells us that it's not a topic that's occupying much of the band's time:
"It's nobody's deal. Nobody has even mentioned it...He's a really private guy. He's dealing with it, but as far as the band goes it's absolutely nothing. Nobody gives a shit. Frankly, everybody's interested in his playing...That's a whole other world. All that trash that's out there doesn't have anything to do with us."
Hollywood Vampires are on the road through July 25 and are hoping to record a second album when the members' schedules allow. Cooper is also working on a new album of his own while Perry is gearing up for Aerosmith's fall tour of South America.
