Actor Alan Rickman has reportedly died of Cancer at 69 years of age, according to The Guardian. The versatile actor has played the villain in Die Hard, to one of the most tortured characters in the Harry Potter Saga, Severus Snape, Rickman brought his stoic and slow canter to add to the roles he played, and manipulated the characters he played to make them his own.
As far as the roles he's played, many will remember him as Severus Snape, which means the world of Harry Potter fans will once again be mourning the death of Snape, but this time, not in the Wizarding World.
He was a wise, and charismatic man, who was deeply rooted, not only as a cinema actor, but also a stage actor. The Guardian parts the article of his death with one amazing quote, which we'd love to share: “Actors are agents of change,” he said. “A film, a piece of theatre, a piece of music, or a book can make a difference. It can change the world.”
Goodbye, Alan Rickman. You will be deeply missed.
