For the first time since the tragic attacks during their November 13th show at Le Bataclan, Eagles of Death Metal are speaking out and detailing the events of that horrific night where at least 90 people were killed.
Embedded below, the exclusive Vice interview lasts 26 minutes in which the band took multiple breaks to collect themselves emotionally when recounting the terrorist attack. Simply put, their stories are devastating.
If there’s one thing to take away from this interview it’s the band’s drive to return to the road and perform again, especially in Paris.
"I cannot wait to get back to Paris. I want to play," said singer Jesse Hughes. "I want to be the first band to play in the Bataclan when it opens back up. Our friends went there to see rock and roll and died. I want to go back and live."
