When Rock Invaded The Thanksgiving Parade

Most of the time, performers at any Thanksgiving parade usually lean more on the pop side.  (We get it!  “It’s a family show…blah, blah, blah.”)  But sometimes, the parade can actually attract an act that rocks.  Here’s some of those moments.

KISS

The 2014 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade perhaps never rocked harder than when KISS joined the party to perform their classic “Rock And Roll All Nite.”

Joan Jett & The Blackhearts

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers performed “Any Weather” from their 2013 album Unvarnished during the 2013 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Fall Out Boy

Also performing at the parade in 2013 was Fall Out Boy who were flanked by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles…because why not?
