Metallica Joins ‘Metalocalypse’ To Hulu Campaign

Metallica is joining the fight to keep the animated series Metalocalypse and its death metal band Dethklok alive.

The show is in its final season on Adult Swim, and founder Brendon Small has been lobbying fans to help convince Hulu to take the show on.

Bring on 'tallica, which posted a photo to their Instagram page directed to Hulu's head of content saying that, "Everyone here at Metallica HQ would really appreciate it if you can finish 'Metalocalypse' so we can watch it on your lovely device. Thank you for your attention in this matter."

If not the entire series, Small would like Hulu to pick up a finale episode, which is titled "Metalocalypse: The Army of the Doomstar -- The Final Chapter." He's started on online petition titled MetalocalypseNOW and has been asking fans to tweet both Hulu and Adult Swim.

Metalocalypse has been airing on Adult Swim since 2006, and Small has created four albums and an EP of Dethklok music.
