Tyler’s Text To Kravitz On Wardrobe Malfunction Is Best Thing Ever

Lenny Kravitz is apparently enjoying the wake of his latest career controversy -- #penisgate, after his pants split during the first song of his show Monday (August 3) in Stockholm, Sweden, exposing his, er, you know what.

Fellow celebrities have weighed in via various social media, and Kravitz shared a favorite text, from Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, that reads, "Dude...no underwear and pierced...F*** me.. You never showed me that shit."

Kravitz, meanwhile, tells us that other than that wardrobe malfunction he's been very happy with his tour so far, which wraps in Europe on August 8 and begins his North American tour August 23 at the Afro-Punk Festival in Brooklyn:

"It's been great, really powerful, and the band has reached that point where we're really jelling and communicating well on stage musically. And I'm really enjoying it, really enjoying it, and people seem to be enjoying it just as much, so it feels great."

Kravitz is touring to promote his 2014 album "Strut" but is already stockpiling material to record later this year for a 2016 release. He'll also be appearing in some episodes of the second season of Fox TV's "Empire" this fall.
