A brief snippet was posted last week, but fans eagerly awaiting the release of David Gilmour’s new solo release can listen to the title track in its entirety.
Rattle That Lock is due out September 18th and will be the first solo release from Gilmour since 2006’s On An Island. Gilmour has stated that the song "was inspired, musically, by the sound that's played at French railway stations before they make an announcement. It's a jingle, a four-note jingle that's played. Every time I heard it, it would make me want to start dancing. I turned my iPhone on, held my iPhone up nearer the speaker, and waited for the next announcement, and that's what I used on this track."
Rattle The Lock is currently available for pre-order at DavidGilmour.com, where it’s available in different merch bundles.
